After the deaths of a brother, son and husband and healing through writing, community and energy work, I founded Heal My Voice, an organization that supports women to heal a story, reclaim personal power and step into greater leadership in their homes, communities and the world. My three daughters are adults who live in Baltimore, New York City and Los Angeles. All of them were raised to love learning, tune in to their inner authority, desire and creativity and to make the world a better place. They are amazing women who inspire me every day. My granddaughter, Lucille is 4 years old. I am her Yaya, her dance partner and her Facetime buddy. I have been living house free for almost four years and spend most of my time in Los Angeles, Seattle, Baltimore and New York. Sometimes I feel like Mary Poppins, following my intuition to a location and living with people in community and collaboration until my time is complete there. It is an intuitive knowing that has led me to be with people during times of challenge and triumph. It is a rich way to live and have intimate connection with people on the planet. I am grateful for all of it. My passion in my business is helping people get clear on their desires and supporting them in designing the life they want to live through coaching, on-line programs in community and individual study programs.
Why did you join Consciously Woman?
I believe in the power of our voices to usher in a new world and that as women, we need places to connect and learn from each other. I am ready to spread my wings and connect with women in different communities, to listen, to learn, to witness, to share. Consciously Woman has been on my radar since the inception in 2014, when Adrienne and I were having weekly conversations with deep feelings and visions. With the completion of a series of nine-month programs in Heal My Voice, I am ready to be present and give and receive in more communities. Adrienne’s fierce commitment to Consciously Woman is inspiring. I want to be in this “field” she has created and to get to know the women who are here and who will be joining.
What is your Vision?
My vision is to continue living in different places around the world while writing screenplays, novels and non-fiction books about life with a home base in Los Angeles where I can unpack my suitcase, hang my clothes in the closet and hang out with my books and crystals and notebooks. That vision includes expanding the 200+ stories that were written in Heal My Voice over the last 7 years and finding a life partner who can dance with me in this life of freedom, creativity and travel.
